I’ve always associated dancing with helping my confidence blossom. It takes you out of your comfort zone while releasing endorphins to make you feel good. I know when I feel like I’m in a rot, a little dance party usually perks me back up.
Today, I’m sharing some of my go to workouts that have helped me blossom in life. Not only are these online dance classes amazing for the soul, these instructors also have some of the best energies to give. African Dance Workout
The first time I tried an African Dance class with Zen, I thought it was way too intense for me. I kept trying it and trying it and I loved it. It challenges me when I need it and I feel so good when I finish a class because I know I worked my body, mind and my soul.
Twerk Dance Class
Twerk dance classes just make me feel alive! This is a class I regularly take because it’s a great workout and it helps me not take exercising too seriously. I never thought twerking would be my jam and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. I mean, I’m way far from being as good as Nicole, but I know I’ve improved a lot!
Burlesque Dance Class
Do you need a little help feeling sexy? Erica has got you babe. Burlesque dancing has helped me embrace my femininity and I cannot wait for you to try it out. I love the moves on the floor because I feel like most classes don’t utilize that level. Plus, I love wearing leg warmers while taking this class for added effect.
Brazilian Dance Workout
This class is near and dear to my heart. Maculele is fierce, feminine and so so strong. Jessica is my mentor in the Capoeira world and I’m so grateful that she brought this class to our platform. I love the burst of energy you get from this dance workout and you feel like a superhero after class.
Trampoline is the fitness class you never knew you needed! You get to bounce on a trampoline while getting a workout in? Heck yes. I love that this class is low impact but so high in cardio. Diane is my soul sister and I’m so glad she talked me into adding this class to our studio.
