Who says fitness can’t be sexy? I love taking empowering dance classes, especially the ones that uplifts the dancer as they are. Fitness shouldn’t just be about sweating all the time, we can add a little sultry moves here and there.
For me, embodying “sexy” was hard because I never thought of myself as someone super “girly”. Taking beginner sexy dance classes like Burlesque and Twerk has taught me that anyone can be sexy and you have your own way of showing it too. Not everyone moves the same way so of course, my sexy will look different than yours and that’s ok! I’ve compiled some of my favorite hot routines from our hip shake babes so you can give it a go. I really want you to let go of your inhibitions and embrace that YOU ARE SEXY!
A burlesque dance class can open so many new doors to your femininity. The moves embraces all the curves in your body and celebrates it. For this routine, my favorite move is right in the beginning– tracing our sides and giving ourselves a booty tap.
Heels Dance Routine
Putting on a pair of heels already gives me a confidence boost and adding some sexy choreo to that levels it up. I love this combo of Doja Cat and dancing in heels because she is so fierce and I want to embody that attitude. I love the hair swings in this one so let it swing babe.
Sexy Twerk Dance
This list wouldn’t be complete without a twerk routine appearance. I’m throwing it back to our very first twerk choreography which was a classic, Milkshake. I mean, who didn’t want to twerk to this song when it came on. Now you can put a full on performance with this routine. Thanks Nicole!
Sexy choreography in bed? Absolutely. You don’t realize it, but it takes a little extra arm and leg strength to dance in bed. Erica whipped up this special dance that anyone can do in their room. If you can put a mirror in front of your bed for funsies, do it and see how sexy you really are.
Sexy Cardio Dance
Lastly, we’re going to Havana with Ashley and the girls. Add a little Latin spice to your cardio routine and move those hips like nobody’s watching. Show off all that sass and sexiness with these moves. My fave has to be the hip circles because I love the emphasis it gives my curves.
