I met Nya through Capoeira classes. I was immediately struck by her fierce no-nonsense attitude and cool demeanor. I eventually learned that she was a software engineer and I though that was so cool because as any women in technology will tell you, there’s not a lot of us! Since then her and I have been talking about our love for technology and shared our passion for dance. I was so excited that she agreed to be part of our kickstarter video because I wanted to feature strong and independent women!

Nya and her son Isaiah met us at my home and we shot their scenes in LAX Airport and the Le Meridien Delfina Hotel in Santa Monica. We started shooting at around 1pm and didn’t really finish till 9pm or so. It was a long shoot day! Nya and Isaiah where so patient and cooperative throughout the whole shoot. I couldn’t have asked for a better person as a testimonial! Don’t forget to check out our Kickstarter, so you can get up to 50% launch price!

Check out some pictures we took during the shoot below
