  • If you had to convince someone to sign up for Hip Shake Fitness, what would you tell them? I love the flexibility to work out at my convenience. I’m not consistent because of my work schedule, so when I have a 30-40 minute window and I’m motivated to exercise, the videos are all right there, waiting for ME. I also can be self-conscious as my weight fluctuates, so I really enjoy working out at home. Lastly, remember years ago when you had to work out in front of the TV using a DVD? Having access to the program form the internet means I can exercise without being tethered to the TV.
  • What’s your fave snack after a workout? Depending on the time of day, I like mixed nuts or popcorn. I’m also a big fan of sparkling water!

  • If you had to convince someone to sign up for Hip Shake Fitness, what would you tell them? I think Hip Shake Fitness is perfect for people like me, who feel a little too self conscious to subscribe to a “real” gym. Every workout focuses on having fun; the instructors tell you to not stress about it and enjoy it and the suggestions about how to make some exercises low impact make it feel totally non-threatening for those who would usually stand in a corner and worry about “doing it right“. And the Facebook group makes the experience even better because you have support from people around the globe!
  • What’s your fave snack after a workout? I always eat a couple of bits of parmesan cheese straight after every workout!🧀🧀

  • What’s your fave snack after a workout? A big scoop of Amazing Grass Peanut Butter protein with some almond milk.

  • If you had to convince someone to sign up for Hip Shake Fitness, what would you tell them? I tell my friends and family about Hip Shake Fitness all the time. It’s a fun way to exercise. You lose yourself in the moves and just have a good time. The workouts are a perfect blend of cardio and strength training so you are getting a total body workout.
  • What’s your fave snack after a workout? Depending on the time of day I may have a protein bar if its in the morning/afternoon or a protein shake if it’s in the evening.

  • If you had to convince someone to sign up for Hip Shake Fitness, what would you tell them? To convince someone I’ll tell them about the fun I am having and how the workouts have improved my endurance and flexibility. Also let them know that as someone in her 60s, I find the workouts easy to follow. Besides dancing on your own, no need to do everything perfect. 
  • What’s your fave snack after a workout? I like drinking a glass of milk after my workout, goes well with chocolates 🙃
