Pregnancy Exercises For Every Trimester
When I was pregnant and I wasn’t active, I didn’t feel great. I needed to move with my baby and I needed to make sure I’m strong enough to carry my baby. So I’m so happy to share some of my favorite workouts during my pregnancy with you babes.
Pregnancy exercises are beneficial for you and your baby. You can reduce back pain, bloating and promote muscle toning and endurance when you work out. Did you know that exercising can lower your baby’s heart rate? That’s a great thing because it indicates that your baby’s heart is healthy. Of course, always consult your doctor before working out when pregnant. I am here to show you some of the moves that got me through my 2 pregnancies and I hope this helps you too with your pregnancy fitness journey at home.

Pregnancy Yoga Exercise
My hips were very tight during my pregnancy so I turned to yoga for some relief. This is a sample of my Hustle & Flow pregnancy exercises where we do a little dance and a lot of stretching. My favorite move from this series is the Heels To Thigh because it always gives me a great stretch.
Core Me Baby
Just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you can’t work on your abs. Strengthening your core during your pregnancy can help reduce a lot of body pain. In this class we will work mostly on the floor so grab your yoga mat and your water. I love doing Bird Dog because it works on my balance too.
Pregnancy Barre Exercise
My soul sister, Diane has some modification tips for us in this video. I honestly love taking a barre class when I was pregnant because it’s such a great total body workout without straining myself. She will teach you the proper form for planks and leg extension moves so that when you take a barre class or any other pregnancy exercises you’ll know how to modify it for yourself.
