Meet Shaun Arora, one of our amazing backers from Kickstarter, a dad and now an official dancer for Hip Shake Fitness! He is the GM at Make in LA where they are creating the Los Angeles epicenter of entrepreneurship focused 100% on hardware technologies. He helps startups thrive providing them with top notch programming and assists them in build partnerships that will benefit them in the future. More importantly, Shaun is a dad to his 3 year old, Louka and 11 month old, Malika. Shaun and his wife, Annick will be featured in our Dancehall Jam series and you’ll fall in love with them as much as we did during our shoot.

Being active and having children
Before the kids I was an amateur athlete. I find it hard to be active at that same level without the kids because that increases the workload for my wife. And I still struggle to incorporate a toddler and infant into a workout. Putting one on my shoulders helps a bit. We do a lot of play time on the floor which often is about all of the activity I can take. We recently bought a bike that can take all the kids at once, so I am looking forward to riding outside with them more.

It was much easier than I thought it was going to be. Zen was an amazing instructor and the moves gave us a burn while being a little fun. My wife and I were the only people who were 100% unqualified to be there.
