Ashley’s love for dance

I’ve always been a dance lover, but my strong passion for dance and fitness stems from a very tragic time in my life: the death of my mom. She was my best friend, motivator, support system, and biggest cheerleader, so losing her to cancer completely shattered my world. Her passing reminded me of how precious life is and made me realize that I needed to start making healthier choices if I wanted to live a long, high-quality life.

Fitness dance motivation

So after college, I found myself nearly 40lbs overweight and felt completely unmotivated to “workout” at a gym or do “traditional” exercises. In less than 4 months, I was able to drop over 40lbs by shaking my tail feather and getting my groove on in a dance class. I became so inspired by my transformation that I wanted to help others achieve their fit body goals through dance and other fun fitness formats as well.
