I’m so glad I had dance workouts when I was pregnant, it made me stay active and kept me healthy while carrying my baby. The best part was that I didn’t have to leave home to get my fitness on!

Who says preggy mamas can’t have fun while exercising? We’re carrying this extra human so we need to stay active and healthy and dance workouts at home is the way to go!
Pregnancy exercises are important for the mama and the baby’s health. Of course, consult your doctor first before changing your fitness routine to know what you should and should not do while pregnant. Working out at home was life changing because carrying a baby bump was hard enough, I didn’t have the stamina to go to the gym. I’m so happy that there are a lot of other boss babes out there that shared their pregnancy workouts on YouTube. My favorite was at home barre workouts because they’re low impact but they still tone and sculpt. Check out some of my faves below and don’t be shy to try those modifications, mama. Prenatal Barre That Tones
I’m so blessed to have Diane as my barre instructor and my girlfriend. She will seriously take care of you and your little one on the dance floor. This video will show you the modifications you need to make when doing planks and other toning moves. The Bird Dog is probably my favorite from this video.
Bump N Body
Girlfriends who workout together are the best! Kat & Kris go through different moves that will work on your total preggy body. Posture is really important so they’ll target that as well. I love the band work in this video because they’re easy moves, but of course with the bands become more of a challenge.
Pregnant Twerk Game On Point
Just because you’re pregnant, doesn’t mean you can’t twerk something! The moves from Nicole are low impact so you can back that thang up. Pregnant twerk workouts are so fun because it doesn’t feel like an actual exercise. It’s just like hanging with your babes and poppin’ you booties. The Fast Booty Twerk was a challenge, for sure, and I’m still working on it!
Yes babe, you CAN do pilates while you’re pregnant! I love when Robin says it’s like giving your baby a big hug with your abs, that definitely makes me want to workout. It’s only ten minutes and it’s a perfect addition to any cardio workout you do. This video will make you feel so strong and so empowered after.
